Arrowood Farms Brewery and Distillery, Accord NY

Arrowood Farms Brewery was the first recipient of funds through the HVADC Agricultural Loan Fund in 2020. Having grown quickly from its early days as a hop farm in 2013, to opening a tasting room in 2016, the brewery began to plan an expansion in 2017, First working with HVADC for Business Technical Assistance (BTA) crafting their business plan, they became an ideal candidate for HVADC’s then, new lending program. Arrowood received a loan through the fund, to help with the expansion. The financing was made possible through the New York Job Development Authority (JDA), which operates under Empire State Development (ESD). Since then, Arrowood has expanded its production capacity and marketing plan, added a restaurant, now offers an event venue and services and launched a small-scale distillery producing vodka, gin and bourbon.
