Hudson Valley Restaurant Week (HVRW) is a two week promotion hosted by The Valley Table magazine designed to bring diners to restaurants during slow periods and to incentivize them to try new eateries. Participants in Hudson Valley AgriBusiness Development Corporation’s (HVADC) inaugural Farm & Food Business Accelerator program (FFBA) will be taking part in the kick-off event for HVRW at the Half Moon restaurant in Dobbs Ferry, Westchester County.
Â
FFBA participant products will be featured in appetizers at the event and the participants will be networking while offering samples of their goods.

We are excited to feature the FFBA program participants at Hudson Valley Restaurant Week kick-off event. One of our main aims in The Valley Table magazine and our HVRW event is to encourage restaurants to incorporate local Hudson Valley ingredients on their menus. The kick-off event is a great opportunity for the FFBA businesses to connect with potential new customers, sample their products and get in front of the press. This year, we are especially pleased to recognize HVADC's outstanding work by awarding HVADC The Valley Table's Farm-to-Table Leadership Award. The award presentation will be made at the HVRW kick-off event on February 28th. - Janet Crawshaw, Publisher of The Valley Table and Founder Hudson Valley Restaurant Week.
HVRW, in its 11th year, takes place from March 6 to March 19th this year, and over 200 restaurants throughout the Hudson Valley are participating. Each venue features a prix-fixe, three-course meal for either lunch or dinner. Reservations can be made by visiting the HVRW site, and are strongly encouraged, as the event is very popular.Â
HVADC is pleased to be offering this opportunity to the FFBA participants. One goal of the program is to create new market opportunities. Participation in the HVRW Kickoff event will provide these businesses with a chance to network and promote their products to chefs and restaurant owners. We expect strong business to business connections will be created and that these connections will lead to new sales for the FFBA participants.
