The Northeast Regional Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) supports research and education that helps build the future economic viability of agriculture in the Northeast Region through a UDSA competitive grants program that serves farmers, researchers, and educators.

 

Northeast Beginning Famers Program: http://nebeginningfarmers.org/

The Northeast Beginning Farmers Program is a project of Cornell designed to provide an array of resources for the new farmer. On their website, farmers can find tutorials and worksheets to help guide the business plan process, videos of experienced farmers giving advice and up close production techniques, a map of service providers, and the Guide to Farming in NY, among many other useful resources.
