You are invited to meet and hear the pitch presentations of Hudson Valley AgriBusiness Development Corporation’s (HVADC) 2018/2019 class of Farm and Food Funding Accelerator (FFFA) Peers – the rising stars of the Hudson Valley’s agribusiness community.
Having been selected from a wide field of applicants, the FFFA peers began an intensive, customized program last fall, engaging in expert instruction, one-on-one counseling and technical assistance, group interaction and industry networking events to learn how to build their sales in anticipation of speaking with investors, discover new market opportunities, and pitch to potential funders.
FFFA participants are all farm, food, fiber or agriculture-dependent businesses having their home office, farm or production facility in the Hudson Valley, and sourcing the majority of their product ingredients from the region, as well as the majority of their labor force.
Scheduled to present:
Berle Farm, Hoosick - Organic cow milk yogurt and cheeses
Farmer & Baker, Middletown - Farm-sourced food market
Gopal Farm, New Paltz - Specialized crops; Indian vegetables
Gray Family Farm, New Windsor - Pasture raised poultry, organic vegetables
J.S.K. Cattle Company, Millbrook - Pasture raised beef, pork, chicken
Local Artisan Bakery, Kingston - Sweet and savory baked goods
Veeda Holi Hydration, Newburgh - Plant-based hydration beverage
This is an opportunity for you to be one of the first to meet some of the newest growers and makers emerging in the Valley, and hear their plans for the future development of their businesses.
